Utterly retro and yet completely contemporary at the same sime, this is
classic indie-rock which has enough originality to grab you by the throat
and compel you not only to listen, but to love it. It's a multi-layered
masterpiece of guitars, eerie electronic echoes and a truly explosive
chorus but, ultimately, it's the distinctive vocals which set it apart
from the crowd: Ewan McFarlane flits between traditional
indie hero defiance and a goosebump-inducing plaintive howl that's as
sweet as... well, honey. Don't believe the rumours; it's not all grim
up North...
