Record Overplayed is a Teesside-based music webzine which was borne out of a shared love of music and a wish to continue writing about it after stints in various roles on our university magazine.

Our purpose has always been simply to give the musicians we love the publicity they undoubtedly deserve, whilst simultaneously providing some hopefully interesting and entertaining articles and enabling ourselves to keep a toe in the door of the music journalism world.
